Merida walks in and starts looking and touching things and asks the old lady who she is, and she says just an old woodcarver, but then merida sees a broom sweeping itself, and knows she's a witch. While shes heading straight to the forest, she notices wisps in the air guiding her down a path, so she follows them.She enters a small dark cottage and sees an old lady appear. Merida's mom Elenor is constantly on her case and telling her that's not what a princess does or acts like, whenever she laughs at the dinner table while their eating, or does anything not "princess-like".So one day, she runs away with her horse friend Angus. Despite this, she is always under pressure by her mom to be perfect and do as she's told.
She's headstrong,passionate, free spirited,and is skilled at archery(one of the greatest in the kingdom)which is why she represents orange,blue, and green.
Princess Merida lives in a mystical Scottish kingdom of Dunbroch with her Mother, father, and 3 brothers.
